![]() ![]() ![]() They also have soups, but I have not ventured that direction. You order the tacos individually and they have a few sides (grilled corn, plantains, and black beans ). It is also divey and you order at a window, which gets a bit muddy during the rain (trust me, I know). I heard about them quite some time ago, but it was getting food to visit a microbrewery without food that made me think of them. This has become a new favorite of mine when I am in East Nashville. The elote was decent definitely better than the tacos. I was only given one hot sauce for getting a 13 dollar order which I thought was pretty stingy considering the food was bland as hell without sauce. The way orders were picked up was extremely disorganized. The wait for my order to come out was extremely long. They cared more about getting my payment than making sure I got what I wanted. The person who took my order wasn't friendly. ![]() Instead I set up Venmo and waited in line once again. When I asked about other forms of payment I was directed to leave the line and go to an ATM. They only take cash or Venmo which was not listed on any sign or online that I was aware of. The service was what gives this place a 1 star. The horchata was pretty good I will admit but there was about 3oz of drink and 9 oz of ice. The tacos were small and nothing to write home about. Unfortunately I was greatly disappointed. This place had great reviews which was why I decided to eat here. It's family friendly and they also playing music. It reminded me of my trips to Mexico and also from back home growing up in the Caribbean. I ordered quinoa potato taco, fried avocado taco and the roasted street corn loaded with spices. In overall it was a wrap to enjoy their food. The inside sitting chairs are kinda small or the table are not too big but okay for a group to eat very close to each other. The parking can be tricky, so get there with extra time to find a good parking spot. They have an antique music box and few other pieces that goes way back in history. The bathroom sign is written in spanish EL VAÑO. Then, you go up to the high counter, grab your order, get the napkins on the right side of the high counter and choose a comfortable area to enjoy your food. ![]() If the weather permits you can seat outside, if not after you order at the outside window, then, you go inside and your name will be call over the speaker. I noticed patrons are waiting longer in the line to order because most people don't think of grabbing a menu to know what they want before is their turn to order. Make sure you grab a menu so you are ready to order when is your turn. The wait was worthwhile, while you stand on line for someone to take your order through the window. My first time eating at Mas Tacos and I was highly impressed. The soup is perfect for a rainy day, packed with flavor The pork, fish, and avocado tacos are my favorites. Nashville is lucky to have you! Best tacos in the city, hands down. Any of the side streets around it are good for parking. To me, the perfect meal consists of: 1 Fish taco 1 Molida (ground beef) taco 1 Pork Taco 1 Elote 1 Limeade Don't let the line scare you, as the line moves quickly and your order is ready soon after you order. The pickled cactus and chorizo taco on Thursdays and the tamales on Wednesdays are all great. They also add in menu items on certain days, which makes it a fun adventure to go back on those certain days! The chilaquiles on Saturday are the best in the city. There are no nuts on the menu (other than the horchata) and practically everything other than the fish tacos is gluten free, with corn tortillas being used here. The menu is limited for a reason, as everything they do is authentic and all done the correct way, with love and care. Mas Tacos does not get enough credit in this city! No one can compare these tacos to any others, and they feel like they are straight from Mexico. ![]()
